Kailash Eye & General Hospital under the aegis of Om Sattva Charitable Trust is serving the community since 2007. We provide free or very low cost medical services to the underprivileged and marginalized lot of our society. We participate in different Government schemes to provide low cost or free of cost treatment to the needy people. We also encourage financially capable people to come forward and help us in providing the affordable health services to deprived section of society.

Hospital has state of the art laboratory and Operation Theater equipped with modern machineries and equipment to cater all the needs of the patients.

We provide following services in the Eye Department :

General Eye Care

Lifestyle changes and increased pollution has led to an increase in eye problems among the population. General eye care demands regular health check-ups, wearing protective eyeglasses, wash eyes thoroughly with water, and most importantly giving rest to eyes after television and computer usage. Om Sattva Charitable Trust, through Kailash Eye and General Hospital offers general eye care treatment to patients with conditions that occur commonly such as dry eye, red-eye, etc. We have experienced doctors to treat patients with eye defects and providing them with free consultation, affordable treatment and holistic postoperative support and care.

Eye Surgeries

Trust’s Kailash Eye and General Hospital is fully equipped for all kind of eye surgeries. The hospital has treated more than 2 lakh patients for cataract and other eye related issues since its inception in 2007.Experienced Doctors and supporting staff takes very good care of each patient undergoing eye surgery. Hospital provides 15 days medicine to each patient after surgery, free of cost.

Following eye surgeries are being performed in the hospital on day to day basis :

Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery is a procedure to remove the lens of your eye and replace it with an artificial lens. A cataract causes your eye lens to become cloudy which eventually affects your vision and due to this a replace of lens with an artificial lens is required.

DCR Surgery

This procedure is required to relieve the symptoms of a blocked tear duct. These include excessive eye watering or crusting around your eyes.

Ptosis Surgery

This procedure is required when the upper eyelid droops over the eye. The eyelid may droop just a little, or so much that it covers the black dot at the center of your eye that lets light in. Ptosis can limit or even completely block normal vision.

Glaucoma Surgery

Glaucoma is the result of damage to the optic nerve. As this nerve gradually deteriorates, blind spots develop in your vision field. Our Doctors treat the problem with medicines and advise the patients to take required preventive measures to prevent vision loss. However, when it is not treatable by medicine, a surgery is recommended.

Chalazion Surgery

A Chalazion is a red, tender lump in the eyelid. It is also known as a stye. This Chalazia most often heal on their own, however, If it continues to get bigger, it may need to be removed with surgery. This is most often done from the inside of the eyelid to avoid a scar on the skin.

Petrygium Surgery

This procedure is performed to remove noncancerous conjunctiva growths (pterygia) from the eye.

Optical Services

Kailash Eye & General Hospital has in- house optical store and offer quality optical services to the patients. Experienced optometrists evaluate and provide eyewear for correcting refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. Personalized care is given to every patient needs and best and affordable optical solutions are suggested.

Eye Camps & Hospital On Wheels

Apart from the services provided in the hospital, with the help of hospital on wheel, we organize health camps in the remote and rural areas where public health service is collapsed and poor citizens have no health facilities. We provide free consultation and medicines to the needy patients and encourage them to come to hospital if their illness is not treatable in camps.
